How did the First Annual Bowden Photographers Retreat begin?…

Well let’s start here…I have been so blessed to do what I do.

This ‘job’ of being a photographer has allowed me stay at home with my sweet babes, travel to amazing places with my family (work+vacation=heck yah!), be artistic on shoots, capture and meet truly enjoyable clients, spend some ‘me’ time in my office (very important to keep a mama sane with 3 littles), and be inspired by other photographers.

Since this start ~ I have gained friendships that include speaking on the phone at least 4 times a day or emails and texts and Facebook messages regularly. I have also met and been inspired by so many others with similar interests as my own.

So I made a plan…
myself + old friends + unknown friends + wine + sleeping bags + cameras + amazing makeup artist = reunion + new friends + tonnes of laughs + new knowledge = First Annual Bowden Photographers Retreat

Thank you to all of the wonderful ladies who made it to my little town of Bowden for what I hope becomes an annual event.
